Your First Visit

Let’s Get Started

In an effort to shorten your first visit, please go online and complete our new patient forms and then submit them at your convenience. If you’re unable to do so, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment.

Your first visit to Princeton Periodontics & Implants is an opportunity to get to know Dr. Staller and learn as much as you’re interested in knowing about your impending treatment, including the purpose and scope of the procedure, the short- and long-term expectations, the duration of the procedure, the potential level of discomfort, and the cost (and how much of it will be covered by insurance). In most cases, the treatment is performed, or started, during your second appointment.

Dr. Staller also conducts a gentle but comprehensive periodontal exam during the initial consultation, which entails:

  • A discussion about your periodontal needs and goals
  • A review of your medical and dental history
  • A clinical periodontal exam, evaluation of a recent full set of radiographs, we will take if needed and will share with your dentist
  • An oral cancer screening
  • And taking impressions for study models, if needed

The Princeton Periodontics & Implants team is committed to cultivating an environment that answers any apprehensiveness with an empathetic, reassuring, and informed response. To us, you’re not a patient; you’re a member of our family.
